Add a shelf level, or replace one. The Standard Pine Shelf is 900mm wide and fits a 924mm-wide Shelf Space bay. Choose a depth from 200mm to 600mm to match your unit. It is a slatted shelf recommended for up to 100kg when installed correctly. It's made in South Africa from heat-treated pine and is delivered free anywhere in the country.
Use it for tools, boxes, dry goods, stock, household items, office supplies or garage gear. Add it to a unit you already have, use it as a replacement, or build your own unit from separate parts.

How to fit it
Choose the height you want, line the shelf up with the pre-drilled holes in the uprights, and screw it in place with the supplied screws and Allen key. Check that the shelf is level and the unit is stable before you load it. The uprights are pre-drilled every 130mm, so you can move the shelf later.
Add extra components
- Smoother shelves: a Premium shelf from R223, for linen and clothing.
- Uprights: single uprights from R48 and double uprights from R71, in 650mm to 2.7m.
- Stability: an aluminium cross brace, R89, for a freestanding unit.
- Side rods: dowel sticks, R164 for a pack of 20 at 300mm long.
- Specialist shelves: a wine rack shelf from R216 or a clothing rail shelf from R225, in the same depth as your bay.

- Free nationwide delivery on every order, with no minimum spend.
- We make your order in our own South African workshop, usually within 1 to 3 business days. The courier then takes about 1 to 3 business days, and you get a tracking link by email.

Frequently asked questions
Can you cut a shelf to a custom width?
Yes. Order the shelf in the depth you need and add the exact width in the special instructions at checkout. We'll cut it down for you.
What's the difference between the Standard and Premium shelf?
Both have the same 100kg rating. The Premium shelf uses smoother timber, which suits linen, towels and folded clothing.
Can I mix depths in one bay?
We recommend keeping every shelf and accessory in a bay at the same depth, so the unit lines up neatly.
