The upright that joins two bays. Double uprights go between the bays of a Shelf Space unit, so you can grow from 1 bay to 2, 3, 4 or more. They come in seven heights from 650mm to 2.7m and are pre-drilled every 130mm for adjustable shelves. They're made in South Africa from heat-treated pine and are delivered free anywhere in the country.
Use them to add a bay to a unit you already have, or to build a long run of shelving for a garage, storeroom, shop, office or workshop.

How many do I need?
Each join between two bays takes 2 double uprights, one at the front and one at the back. The outer ends always use single uprights.

Delivery
- Free nationwide delivery on every order, with no minimum spend.
- We make your order in our own South African workshop, usually within 1 to 3 business days. The courier then takes about 1 to 3 business days, and you get a tracking link by email.

Frequently asked questions
Can I get a custom height?
Yes. Order the next standard size up and add the height you need in the special instructions at checkout. For example, for 1,600mm, order the 1,800mm upright. We'll cut it down for you.
Do double uprights go on the ends?
No. The outer ends use single uprights. Double uprights only go where two bays join.
Are screws included?
The screws to fix shelves come with the shelves. If you need loose screws or fittings, WhatsApp us before you order.
