Keep your shelving off the floor. This black protective booty slides onto the bottom of a Shelf Space single upright (45 × 20mm pine) so the wood never touches the floor. It acts as a barrier between the pine and the floor, protecting the foot from water, damp, dust and scuffs, and gives your unit a neat, professional finish. It's 3D-printed in South Africa from tough black PETG and delivered free anywhere in the country.
Use it in a garage, laundry, kitchen, bathroom, storeroom or shop – anywhere floors get mopped, wet or dusty.
Why customers choose it
- Protects the wood: keeps the end grain of the upright off wet or damp floors.
- Protects your floor: no scratches or marks on tiles, laminate or epoxy.
- A finished look: a neat black foot under every upright.
- Made to fit: shaped to slide snugly onto our single uprights – no tools or glue.
How many do I need?
You need one booty per single upright – usually 4 for a 1-bay unit (the 2 outer uprights at front and back). Booties are sold individually.

Frequently asked questions
Single or double?
Single booties fit the end uprights (45 × 20mm). Double booties fit the wider middle uprights between bays (90 × 20mm).
Will it stop water damage?
It keeps the wood off the floor so it doesn't soak up water from mopping or spills.
