A solid pine study desk with nothing in the way of your legs: a one-piece 610mm-deep pine desktop at 750mm desk height, open underneath so a chair pushes right in. Choose a sliding box drawer under the desktop for stationery and chargers, a pull-out keyboard shelf for a keyboard and mouse, or leave it open. It's our single-bay workbench cut down to desk height, so it's as strong as a workbench but sized for homework, a laptop or a home office. It fits a bedroom, a study nook, a passage or the end of the lounge. It's made in South Africa from solid, heat-treated pine, ships flat-packed and is delivered anywhere in the country.

How it's laid out

• Desktop: a solid laminated pine worktop, 900mm wide and 610mm deep, at 750mm high (standard desk height).
• Box drawer: a sliding drawer box fits straight under the desktop. The desktop is its lid, so there's no extra shelf in the way.
• Keyboard shelf: or choose a pull-out sliding shelf just under the desktop. Slide your keyboard and mouse out to work, push them away when you're done.
• Open underneath: no bottom shelf. Base connectors join the uprights at floor level, so your chair and legs fit underneath.
• Frame: 4 solid pine uprights cut to desk height, with an aluminium cross brace at the back so it stands firm.

Frequently asked questions

Drawer or keyboard shelf?
The box drawer is for stationery, chargers and books. The keyboard shelf slides out with your keyboard and mouse, so the desktop stays free for a screen or laptop.

Can I add a bookshelf next to it?
Yes. Add a 2.1m bookshelf bay on either side in Build Your Shelf; it joins on with a double upright.

Which depth should I choose?
The desktop is always 610mm deep. The depth you choose is the frame, drawer or keyboard shelf underneath: 400mm suits most rooms.
