A pull-out drawer for your shelving. The Sliding Drawer Box is a 900mm-wide pine tray on metal drawer runners, mounted in a timber frame that fits a standard Shelf Space bay. Fully opened, it extends to about double its closed depth. It's made in South Africa from heat-treated pine and is delivered free anywhere in the country.
Use it as a desk or keyboard drawer, a dressing table drawer, a stationery or craft drawer, or a tool tray in a workbench.

How to fit it
The timber support frame mounts into your Shelf Space bay. For the strongest and neatest result, fit it directly under a pine top shelf, desk surface or workbench top of the same depth.
Add extra components
- Desk surface: a pine top shelf from R224, to fit above the drawer.
- Work bench: our wooden work bench, or a solid pine worktop from R625.
- Flat sliding shelf: a pull-out sliding shelf from R269, in depths up to 600mm.
- Shelves: Standard shelf from R187.
- Uprights: single uprights from R48 and double uprights from R71.

- Free nationwide delivery on every order, with no minimum spend.
- We make your order in our own South African workshop, usually within 1 to 3 business days. The courier then takes about 1 to 3 business days, and you get a tracking link by email.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a top shelf above it?
We recommend one. Fitting it under a pine top shelf or desk surface of the same depth gives the strongest and cleanest result.
How far does it open?
About double its closed depth, so roughly 600mm for the 300mm drawer and 800mm for the 400mm drawer.
Is there a deeper option?
The drawer comes in 300mm and 400mm. For deeper bays, see the pull-out sliding shelf, which comes up to 600mm deep.
