Pine L-Bracket Shelf Support – 200 to 600mm

Mount your shelving on the wall. This solid pine L-bracket supports a Shelf Space unit from underneath and fixes it to the wall, so a low unit – 650mm or 900mm high, 1 bay or more – can float off the floor as a wall shelf, a TV or display unit, or storage above a desk or washing machine. It comes in five depths, from 200mm to 600mm, to match your shelves. It's made in South Africa from pine and delivered free anywhere in the country.

Use it in a lounge, bedroom, kitchen, laundry, garage, office or shop – anywhere you want storage up on the wall and the floor kept clear.

Why customers choose it

• Clears the floor: hang a 650mm or 900mm unit on the wall instead of standing it on the floor.
• Solid support: a braced pine triangle carries the unit from underneath and holds it tight to the wall.
• Sized to your unit: five depths, from 200mm to 600mm, to match your shelves.
• Fastening kit included: every bracket comes with 2 No.10 screws and 2 wall plugs – one at the top and one at the bottom.

How many do I need?

Brackets are sold individually. We recommend two brackets per bay – one under each side – but it's up to you. So a 1-bay unit usually takes 2 brackets, and a 2-bay unit 4. Choose the same depth as your shelves.

Dimensions and specifications

What's in the box

• 1 × pine L-bracket in your chosen depth
• Fastening kit: 2 × No.10 screws and 2 × wall plugs

How to fit it

Mark the height you want the bottom of your unit. Drill two 8mm holes per bracket, push in the wall plugs and screw a bracket to the wall under each side of the bay, level with each other. Sit the unit on the brackets and screw it down onto them, then fix the uprights to the wall.

Goes well with

• Shelving to hang: 1-bay shelving units in 650mm or 900mm high.
• Finish it off: a Masonite backboard and side panels.
• Extra shelves: Standard pine shelves from R187.
