A solid workbench with storage built in. This 2-bay pine work bench has a one-piece solid pine worktop, 1,800mm long and 610mm deep, with two storage shelves underneath for tools, boxes and supplies. Choose the frame depth that fits your space, from 300mm to 600mm, and 900mm high for standing work or 650mm for a low bench you can sit at. It's made in South Africa from heat-treated pine, ships flat-packed, and is delivered free anywhere in the country.
Use it as a garage or workshop tool bench, a potting bench, a craft or hobby table, a kitchen prep island, a packing station or a retail counter.
Why customers choose it
- One solid worktop: a single 1,800 × 610mm pine top, not shelves pushed together, so you get a flat, even surface to work on.
- Choose your depth: a 300, 400, 500 or 600mm frame under the 610mm top. A shallower frame leaves more room for your knees; a deeper one gives more storage.
- Storage underneath: two flat shelves, which you can move up or down on the pre-drilled uprights (every 13cm).
- Two heights: 900mm for standing work, or 650mm for a lower bench you can sit at.
- Make it mobile: get the mobile work bench on wheels.

Frequently asked questions
Which depth should I choose?
The worktop is always 610mm deep. A 300 or 400mm frame leaves more knee room under the top; a 500 or 600mm frame gives you deeper storage shelves.
Which height should I choose?
900mm is a comfortable standing height for most people working with tools or preparing food. Choose 650mm if you want to sit at it on a stool or low chair, or for a kids' craft table.
Is the top one solid piece?
Yes. The worktop is a single solid pine top, 1,800mm × 610mm, so there are no gaps between boards to catch screws or crumbs.
Can I paint or seal the top?
Yes. The pine comes natural and untreated. For a hard-wearing worktop, we recommend a few coats of varnish or oil.
