A solid pine shelving unit that fits where others won't. This 1-bay Standard shelving unit is 924mm wide and 1,800mm high, with 5 adjustable shelves that each hold up to 100kg. Choose a depth from a slim 200mm to a deep 600mm. It's made in South Africa from heat-treated pine, ships flat-packed, and is delivered free anywhere in the country.
Use it as garage shelving, a pantry or linen cupboard, a stockroom rack, or storage shelves in a room where a 2.1m unit is too tall. Need more space later? Add shelves or bays at any time. It's a modular system, not a one-off.

Freestanding or fixed to the wall
Don't want holes in your wall? Fit the free cross brace across the back and the unit stands steady on its own. Prefer it fixed? Use the free fastening kit to secure it to a brick or concrete wall, and you won't need the cross brace. The spacers in the kit let the uprights sit flush against the wall even with a skirting board. For drywall or other wall types, use fixings made for that wall.
Grow it as you need it
- Add shelves: with 14 positions per upright, you can fit up to 9 more Standard pine shelves.
- Add accessories: a wine rack shelf, a pull-out sliding shelf or clear storage boxes. Check each one's depth options against your unit.

Delivery and assembly
- Free nationwide delivery on every order, with no minimum spend.
- We make your shelving in our own South African workshop, usually within 1 to 3 business days. The courier then takes about 1 to 3 business days, and you get a tracking link by email.
- Most people assemble it with the included Allen key and a basic screwdriver.

How much weight can each shelf hold?
Up to 100kg per shelf, as long as the load is spread evenly.
Can I change the shelf heights later?
Yes. Each upright has 14 pre-drilled positions 13cm apart, so you can move shelves up or down at any time.
Does it need to be fixed to the wall?
No. Use the free cross brace for a stable freestanding unit, or fix it to the wall with the free fastening kit. Either is included.
My wall has a skirting board. Will it sit flush?
Yes. The fastening kit includes spacers that sit behind the uprights to clear the skirting.
Is it hard to assemble?
No. It's a simple flat-pack with an Allen key included, and you can follow our assembly video step by step.
Can I paint or stain it?
Yes. The pine comes natural and untreated, so it takes paint, stain, wax or oil well.
Will it fit my space?
The unit is 924mm wide and 1,800mm high. Measure your space and allow a little clearance around it.
