Over 3.6m of strong storage, with four storage boxes free. This 4-bay Standard pine shelving unit is 3,657mm wide, 2,100mm high and 400mm deep. It includes 20 shelves, 5 per bay, plus 4 clear 21L storage boxes for the smaller items. It's made in South Africa from heat-treated pine, ships flat-packed, and is delivered free anywhere in the country.
Use it in a garage, workshop, storeroom, office or business for tools, equipment, boxes, stock and general household storage.
Why customers choose it
- Strong shelves: each shelf holds up to 100kg, evenly loaded.
- 4 free storage boxes: one clear 21L box for each bay.
- Adjustable: 17 pre-drilled positions per upright, 13cm apart, so you set every shelf where you need it.
- Standard or Premium: Standard shelves have a practical natural finish. Premium shelves are the same strength with a smoother, fabric-friendly surface.
- Repairable: every part is sold separately, so you can replace, expand or reconfigure it instead of buying a new unit.

What's in the box
- 4 × single uprights, 2,100mm
- 6 × double uprights, 2,100mm
- 20 × Standard pine shelves, 900mm wide × 400mm deep
- 4 × clear 21L storage boxes, free
- 2 × aluminium cross braces, free
- 4 screws per shelf, to fix each shelf to the uprights
- Free fastening kit: Allen key, screws and wall plugs for brick or concrete walls, and spacers that sit behind the uprights so the unit clears your skirting board
The price is exactly the same as buying the uprights and shelves one by one, so the storage boxes and cross braces come free.
Freestanding or fixed to the wall
Fit the two free cross braces across the back and the unit stands steady on its own, with no holes in your wall. Prefer it fixed? Use the free fastening kit on a brick or concrete wall, and you won't need the cross braces. For drywall or other wall types, use fixings made for that wall.
Add extra components
Every part is sold separately. Choose 400mm deep so new parts line up with your unit.
- Extra shelves: Standard shelf, R244 at 400mm deep, or a smoother Premium shelf, R291.
- More boxes: clear 21L storage boxes, R446 for a pack of 5.
- Pull-out storage: a pull-out sliding shelf, from R269.
- Rolling storage: a rolling storage crate, from R314.
- Mobile base: a wheelie base shelf, from R179.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between Standard and Premium shelves?
Only the finish. Both have the same strength and fit the same uprights. Premium shelves get extra milling for a smoother surface that won't snag linen or clothing.
Do the storage boxes fit on the shelves?
Yes. Each box is about 290 × 285 × 400mm, sized to sit neatly on a 400mm deep shelf.
Can I paint or stain it?
Yes. The pine comes natural and untreated, so it takes paint, stain, wax or oil well.
