A solid workbench that goes where the job is. This 2-bay pine work bench has a one-piece solid pine worktop, 1,800mm long and 610mm deep, two 400mm-deep storage shelves, and two wheelie base shelves with lockable wheels underneath. Roll it out to the driveway, across the workshop or into the middle of the kitchen, lock the wheels, and get to work. Choose 950mm high for standing work or 700mm for a lower bench. It's made in South Africa from heat-treated pine, ships flat-packed, and is delivered free anywhere in the country.

Every part is sold separately, so you can build the bench around your work. Choose 400mm deep to match the frame.

• Extra shelves: Standard shelf, R244 at 400mm deep, or a smoother Premium shelf, R291 at 400mm deep.
• Drawers: a pull-out sliding shelf for small parts and tools.
• Spare worktop: a solid pine worktop in 900mm or 1,800mm to turn another unit into a work surface.
• Tool wall: pair it with a 2-bay shelving unit against the wall for a full workshop.

Frequently asked questions

Do the wheels lock?
Yes. Each wheelie base shelf has 4 lockable trolley wheels, so the bench stays put while you work.

Do I lose the bottom shelf?
No. The wheelie bases are full pine shelves with the wheels fitted underneath, so the bottom level is still usable storage.

Is the top one solid piece?
Yes. The worktop is a single solid pine top, 1,800mm × 610mm, with no gaps between boards.

Can I paint or seal the top?
Yes. The pine comes natural and untreated. For a hard-wearing worktop, we recommend a few coats of varnish or oil.
