A solid pine kitchen island on lockable wheels, with a one-piece pine worktop, a sliding drawer and a wine rack. Roll it where you need extra prep space, a breakfast counter or a serving station, then lock the wheels. It's 1.8m long, about 980mm high to the worktop and fits a small kitchen, open-plan kitchen, patio or entertainment area. It's made in South Africa from solid, heat-treated pine, ships flat-packed and is delivered anywhere in the country.

How it's laid out

• Worktop: one solid laminated pine worktop, 1,800mm × 610mm, across both bays.
• Left bay: a sliding drawer box for cutlery and utensils, a slatted shelf for pots and bowls, and a wheelie base shelf at the bottom.
• Right bay: a wine rack shelf for about 10 bottles and a wheelie base shelf for baskets, appliances or the braai tongs.

Frequently asked questions

Which depth should I choose?
The worktop is always 610mm deep. The depth you choose is the shelving underneath: 600mm gives the most storage, 400mm keeps it lighter and easier to move.

Can I use it as a breakfast bar?
Yes. The worktop overhangs slightly all round, and bar stools fit along the side.

Can I use it outside?
It's great under a covered patio for serving. Seal the pine first and keep it out of the rain.

Can I paint or stain it?
Yes. The pine comes natural and untreated, so it takes paint, stain, wax or oil well.
